Every year the Bronx Zoo hosts the Run for the Wild (RFTW) which is a 5k race to support wildlife conservation around the world. This year RTFW is supporting gorillas and Team Gameosity is ready to run. Gorillas have been pushed to the brink of extinction due to poaching and the destruction of their environment. The RFTW is raising money to help to manage parks and reserves; create monitoring and patrolling programs to fend off poaches, and work with local communities to help the gorilla populations around them.
The Gameosity team is super excited to raise some money for a good cause. Jess and Diana have done this race a few years in a row now and really enjoy it.
With your support, we hope to raise our target of $1000. Even $10 would make a big difference for gorillas. Please donate to the Run for The Wild. You’ll have our thanks and a shout out on our page and twitter. The RFTW takes place on Saturday, April 25th, 2015. If you are in the neighborhood and want to join the cause you can sign up on the team website. If you would like to watch us exhaust ourselves for a good cause from the safety of the sidelines, you can attend the RFTW as a spectator. Spectators must purchase an advanced ticket prior to the event by following this link.
We will post some fun pictures from the event afterwards. Thanks to everyone who helps us with the wonderful cause. We love you guys!
