Until now there have been copy cat games available for mobile (mostly of the ‘copy’ variety), but the moment has finally come: Exploding Kittens are now here for mobile devices!
The wildly successful Kickstarted card game, by Matthew Inman, Elan Lee, and Shane Small, has hit the electronic world in a swarm of volatile felines. The game was released on the App Store and within 24 hours it topped the charts, becoming the #1 paid app.
Exploding Kittens is a local multiplayer game for 2-5 players. It works similar to Russian Roulette, where everyone is trying to not get an exploding kitten. You’ll be shoving these powder keg puddytats towards your enemies or defusing them with laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. The app comes with new exclusive cards not found in the original release and as a launch special, the developers are offering all in-app-purchases for free!
You can get a copy of Exploding Kittens for mobile for $1.99 on the app store. Android users will have to wait a little longer for their version, but it should be coming soon.
