Jess: Attack on Titan is a dramatic and violent anime about giants eating humans (with subtexts about man’s inhumanity toward man, etc., but mostly people eating). It’s intense and exciting and I watched the good part of the first season in one sitting. And now Cryptozoic Entertainment has created a deck builder that looks to capture the essence of that show! – They have just released the Attack on Titan Deck-Building Game.
Designed by Matt Hyra, 1-5 players will play the heroes, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, trying to defend the walls of city against the Titans. The game utilizes Cryptozoic’s Cerberus Engine alongside movement elements to better represent the awesome acrobatics that are key to the show.
“Matt Hyra and his team have added character game pieces, which provide a physical presence for players in the Attack on Titan Deck-Building Game. The movement choices players make have as large of an impact on winning as the cards they play. It’s an exciting evolution to the Cerberus Engine that brings deeper strategy and further immersion into deck-building games,” said Adam Sblendorio, Vice President of Creative, Cryptozoic Entertainment.
The Attack on Titan Deck-Building Game is available for pre-order on Amazon for $41.99 and will start shipping November 14, 2016. Click the link below to order now!
