All aboard the Pork Chop Express! Everything Epic is developing a game based on the cinematic masterpiece Big Trouble in Little China!
Big Trouble in Little China: The Game is being designed by Chris Batarlis (Everything Epic) and Boris Polonsky (Flipside) as a cooperative miniatures game for 1-4 players. You get to play through 2 acts using different sides of the board. The first is Chinatown and the second is Lo Pan’s lair.
Players have six unique characters to choose from and use custom dice for actions, quest tasks, and combat. In addition these is a communal pile of fate dice to draw from.
Jess: I’m already excited looking at the minis that are included in the game. The guardian one is so freaking cool!
Jess: IThe only other details I have for the moment are the listed mechanics involved in the game as posted on Board Game Geek:
Action Point Allowance System
Point to Point Movement
Variable Phase Order
Variable Player Powers
If it all hangs together, Big Trouble in Little China: The Game sounds like it is going to be a blast! I can’t wait to have a chance to try it out.
Everything Epic reports that pre-orders will be opening up soon. If you are interested in learning more and/or signing up for their newsletter for updates, check out their site for Big Trouble in Little China: The Game. You can also follow along on their Facebook Page.
