Rise to Nobility Ascends to Kickstarter

Final Frontier Games has released their Kickstarter campaign for Rise to Nobility, a 2-5 player dice placement game of political aspirations.

If you are familiar Cavern Tavern, Final Frontier Game’s previous game, you’ll recognize that Rise to Nobility is set in the same fantasy world. This time we are helping build up the new city of Caveborn, which was formed 5 years after the events of Cavern Tavern. The game includes the typical cast of fantasy races including Dwarves, Elves, Halflings, Trolls, and Humans. You also get the odd, but charming Green Elves.

In the new city, players are looking to earn their place among the nobility by earning a reputation with the people of Caveborn. During the game, players will have 5 dice that represent their actions. Depending on the reputation that they earn/lose, the value of the dice a player has access to will change, so you’ll have to make sure to stay on the city’s good side.

To do this, you can impress new settlers by providing them housing and jobs, engage in local politics, sell some goods, and visit the High Queen.

Jess: I love that the game uses art by The Mico, artist for Cavern Tavern, Game of Thrones: Hand of The King, The North Sea Saga trilogy, Valeria card games, etc… He has a very recognizable and fun style.

You can pick up a copy for a pledge of $49 which is a nice discount considering MSRP will be $60. If you pitch in $10 more you can get the deluxe copy, which comes with custom laser engraved dice and custom shaped wooden resources. Learn more about the game and add your pledge on the Rise to Nobility Kickstarter campaign page.
