Renegade Game Studios has announced their new set collection game, Planet Defenders, is coming out later this year.
The game, originally designed by Wei-Min Ling, and originally published by EmperorS4 Games in Taiwan, is set in the far future. Renegade describes the story of the game thus:
In the far future, humans have colonized hundreds of worlds throughout the galaxy. Robots have been in use for centuries and millions have been discarded over the years. Discarded robots litter the galaxy and have become a problem for mankind. Luckily the Planet Defenders protect us and gather up these old robots before they become a real danger to our planets throughout the galaxy!
Players are tasked with the job of cleaning up after themselves. Each will control three defender robots and try to gather up as much energy as they can. They can also research upgrades by finding discarded robots and by collecting technology cards.
“We worked with EmperorS4 to add 3D robot models to Planet Defenders with our release,” explains Scott Gaeta, President of Renegade Game Studios. “This game already has such a unique and fun style that the miniatures were perfect for bringing it to life on the table.”
You can find Planet Defenders in stores Fall of 2017 for $45. Learn more about the game at www.renegadegames.com
