Renegade Game Studios has announced they will be releasing their space exploration game, Kepler-3042 at the International Spieltage 2017 in Essen, Germany. The game was originally published through Placentia Games and Post Scriptum, but now Renegade aims to bring it to a wider audience.
Designed by Simone Cerruti Sola, Kepler-3042 will feature new art by Kwanchai Moriya (Flip Ships) and will take you on a journey across the stars. The goal of the game is to colonize, exploit, and terraform the planets of the Milky Way. The nation with the most victory points at the end wins!
“We’ve published a lot of unique and interesting games in the past three years, but this is the first time we’ve dipped our toes into the deeper end of the pool, ” explains Scott Gaeta, President of Renegade Game Studios. “We are very excited to share Kepler-3042 with our fans because it is a bit heavier than our previous games. Many of our fans were introduced to the industry through elegant simple family games like Lanterns and Gravwell. They’re ready to explore a bit further and we’re looking forward to publishing more games in this category.”
Keep an eye out at your local game store this fall or check out Kepler-3042 at International Spieltage if you are attending. Until then, visit www.renegadegames.com for more information about the game.
