Cardboard Edison has announced that it is launching a Kickstarter campaign for its first publication, Cobras!
Cobras is a trick-taking game for 1-5 players. Chris & Suzanne Zinsli (Cardboard Edison) is working with Eric Alvarado (Mill City, On the Crab, Orbital) and together they have based the game on an anecdote called the “Cobra Effect”: With the village overrun by cobras, authorities put out a bounty to encourage people to get rid of the pests. Sensing opportunity, some enterprising villagers began breeding cobras for the reward money. When the authorities found out about the scheme, they canceled the bounty. With nothing to do with the cobras, the villagers released them, making the problem even worse than before!
